[ The tail end of winter turns to spring, then spring to summer, and in that time Frederick's taken Vero out to dinner seven times to repay him for the six times he's babysat. (An extra dinner was thrown in as a Friday night babysit turned into a weekend long affair as Frederick had single-handedly the worst airport experience of his life. He's still apologizing for that one.) And each of those dinners, two things have become increasingly clear.
1) Vero has it really, really bad for him.
2) Frederick might have similar feelings.
But a relationship isn't something he can just jump into - being a single father aside, Vero is significantly younger than him, and his student. He just... he can't. He can't.
