[ Falling in love with Vero is easy. In no time at all, Chance feels as though he's known him his entire life - like he's found his soulmate, that they're just meant to be together, and dozens upon dozens of other sickeningly romantic things. It's because of this that he's hesitant to say anything. Because falling in love with Vero was almost too easy, and deep down he's afraid. Not of Vero hurting him - he can't even imagine the possibility - but of losing him if the flame ever burnt out. But those thoughts are far from his mind as he waits for Vero to finish getting ready for their outing outside his apartment. Spending time with him, making him smile, talking with him until sunrise... despite all his inner conflict, being friends with Vero is still easy.
