Kazunari grins through his own gay crisis, though and gets right to work. He gives Tsumugi a smokey eye first (because, truly, fuck him) then its time to apply the eyeliner.
He has to get so close to Tsumugi's face for this, it's agonizing. And, it's extra agonizing when he has to tilt his chin between his fingers so he can angle and make his wings as sharp as he promised.
But oh, oh, if Kazunari thought applying the eyeliner was the most agonizing step, he is about to be sorely mistaken. Applying Tsumugi's lipstick is going to be so, so much worse for his poor gay heart.] Um, can you part your lips a bit? Like you're goin' in for a smooch.
[ Despite how his heartbeat quickens (he can't open his eyes right now, but he can sense how close he is by the warmth of his breath against his skin) Tsumugi stays still and composed, only moving when guided by Kazunari's hand. He never thought this when Azami did his makeup for shows, but... there's something kinda intimate about this, isn't there? There's a degree of vulnerability and trust at play here.
And he trusts Kazunari without question, so he parts his lips as his mind floods with memories of smooching him. ]

A pure black lip will be too severe for his look. So he should do a fade... Rifling through the tools that were handed off to him, though, there doesn't seem to be anything he can use to smudge the color. He has to use his fingers.

But he must persevere. He dabs the color across Tsumugi's lips with just the gentlest tap of his finger. If he feels he needs more color, he applies the color to his finger first rather than applying it directly to his lips now.
It's unfair. What right does Tsumugi have, having lips as soft as he does. Like little pillows. Just begging for more kisses. Ugh.]

Each tap of his finger chips away at his composure, and he has no one to blame but himself because he asked him to do this. His touch is soft and light, and the press against his lips only reminds him more of how it felt to kiss him.

It's not obvious how he flushes, given the layer of makeup on his face, but his embarrassment still comes through in the way his eyes widen, and how he leans back a little. ] S- sorry.

I... [ Tsumugi lets out a small breath. ] I wanted to kiss you.
[He takes Tsumugi's hands in his own before he can withdraw any further.] Oh, thank god! I've been dying to kiss you all day! Especially now! Do you have any idea how spicy you look in that outfit??
But he'll have to ponder what that bit of slang means later. His hands squeeze Kazunari's tight and, in an unintentional role reversal, he says simply: ] Please kiss me?
[Tsumugi doesn't need to ask twice. Kazunari closes the gap between without a response, just a big grin on his face.
Their kisses are much the same as they were the other day. That doesn't make them any less exciting and sweet, though. Kazunari relishes in the softness of his lips again, the warmth, and how he can feel the lipstick smudging (oopsies). It's so nice. So good. This is what he's been wanting all along.
He wants... Tsumugi so badly. Not just kisses but, all of him. His good mornings and welcome homes. His sleepy laugh when Kazunari tries to flatten his bedhead. The way he curls up with Kazunari while they watch funny animal videos... his touches. All of it. Kazunari doesn't want to lose it.
Well fuck, he's down bad for Tsumugi huh. Thank goodness they're actively kissing.]
[ It's funny - they've only kissed once before (or, well, multiple times in that one instance), and yet there's something so comforting, so familiar about this. He's certainly no poet, but... it's like he's come home, in a way.
His lips curl into a smile as big as his grin as he laces their fingers together. While a tiny, tiny part of him is aware that they're ruining his hard work, he can't bring himself to stop. Because he feels very much the same: he wants all that Kazunari is willing to give. Whether it's just these kisses or more.
Perhaps it isn't the best way to confess, but the words come out naturally, as easily as the pleased little sigh he breathes out when they're finally forced to part. ] I really like you.
