[ A tiny hand squeeze. ] This might be a little silly - technically, we only just met... but I want you to be happy. [ G A Y ]

[It's a little silly but it's not like Gerome doesn't feel the same. And he doesn't think they can be blamed - not when he's loved Inigo for so long and he has an inkling that this Inigo's feelings are the same towards him.]

Are you happy?

[ Inigo's smile grows warmer. ] I am. I've gotten so many opportunities to dance with my mother... and now you're here, too.

I don't think I could ask for more than this. [ Getting to be a dancer, holding Gerome like this... it's a dream come true, honestly. ]

[Ugh, can Inigo stop? He's blinding with that smile.]

I'm not your Gerome. And you're not my Inigo.

But I -- [He flusters. Inigo makes him dizzy. He makes his thoughts go haywire.] You keep talking like that and I find myself feeling the same. I thought being here was going to be a bother but if you're here - regardless of which Inigo you are, you're Inigo, and I --

[ Gerome kisses him, and Inigo is eager to reciprocate. He breaks their hand holding to wind his arms around his shoulders, pulling himself closer to him (closer to his lips, so warm, so perfectly Gerome) so he can just take in the fact that Gerome is kissing him. Even in his wildest fantasies, it was never like this.

The Gerome before him really is full of surprises - surprises that Inigo will have to get used to.

After a time that feels both like an eternity and not quite long enough, Inigo pulls back just enough to catch his breath. ] I- I want to be your Inigo. [ ... But his words are still light and airy, for Gerome's ears only. ] I love you.

[ Not his Gerome - this Gerome. The Gerome who asked to dance with him and then kissed him so nicely. ]

[Gerome is surprising himself, honestly. This is morwe than he ever expected to happen upon arriving in Askr. But he's wanted this for longer than he can count - longer than he'd ever say. It's worth a few calculated risks to have Inigo holding him, so close to his chest and whispering those words he never thought he'd hear.

The words bring such joy to Gerome. He feels happiness bubble in his chest, crawling right up his throat and tickling his cheeks into a smile.] I love you. I love you.

[ For the second time today, Inigo's eyes begin to well up with tears. Gerome looks so happy, and he's the one who made him this way, and he's saying he loves him with such a sweet voice and he knows it's meant for him, not for any other Inigo, so how could not just be completely overwhelmed by emotion?

He wants to kiss that smile of his again. So he does. ] I love you. I love you. I love you, I love you, I love you...

[ A tiny sniffle. ] I never thought I'd be able to say it. [ He's gay. ]
